Denis will be hosting an Olympic Lifting Night @ CFD –  Thursday, June 21/12 @ 7pm. Come join-in for some great learning and practice!!

There will be a group workout at CFD on Saturday, JUNE 23/12 @ 10:00am (be sure to arrive ahead of time to warmup and be ready to roll)$5 each. ALL ARE WELCOME, THE MORE, THE MERRIER!!  COME SEE, COME CHEER, COME TRY!!!  See you all then for some CFD-style fun!!!

    I unfortunately missed out on awesome work out today :( Lost opportunity to practice my DU,s.. a whole 250 of them :) Not to mention the 175 Knees to elbow…and lets not forget those75 box jumps !!! Sounds like a gasser!! Great work gang! Tony was still sweating from that work out when he got home :) LOL .. Gotta love those hump day work outs !

    Wow, that WOD was a gasser that’s for sure. Thank God I went this AM because with the heat that they are announcing for today, it will be a hard one later in the day.

    This AM I did:
    Five rounds for time:
    50 double unders (First round : 200 singles and a dozen double unders in between and other rounds, only did 50 singles since was running out of time)
    35 knees to elbows (4th round did 30 situps and 5th round did 20 situps since my hands were hurting too much!)
    15 burpee-box-jump

    Time: 42:54

    Man, I thought that WOD was never going to end!!!! Long one, but good one …

    WOD:
    Five rounds for time:
    50 double unders
    35 knees to elbows (Set of 10, followed by sets of 5′s)
    15 burpee-box-jump (unsure of height of box used but is the one right after the 24 inch box)

    This morning I did:

    CFWU x 1

    Then, with 25 minutes left to WOD, I did:

    Three rounds of:
    50 double unders
    35 knees to elbows
    15 burpee-box-jump
    + a 4th set of 50 double unders

    OUFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Time : 51:52 – this time includes my 2 minute break between round 3 and 4 when I thought I was gonna be sick…the joy of crossfit ;)
